FILM TV & COMMERCIALS

As the founder of Fiona Cross Management, I am thrilled to lead this agency with both passion and compassion. Since I set the agency up in 2017, we have grown in strength and quality, and I am proud of the exciting productions we have had the privilege of placing our actors in.

Our actors have achieved incredible success since joining our agency, landing lead roles in feature films, day player roles on major TV shows, and touring the world in brilliant stage productions.

My interests lie in the realm of Film and TV, particularly in surrealist or non-linear narratives. And because I am half French, European TV and Cinema hold a special place in my heart. I also do have a soft spot for commercials, as I believe in the power of a well-structured, artistically curated advert.

My favourite part of the job is calling an actor to tell them that they have been called in for a casting that was on their ultimate goals list. It is a privilege to witness their hard work and dedication pay off in such a meaningful way. There is also the satisfaction of being able to play your part in the puzzle that is casting and suggesting the right person to complete the project.

At Fiona Cross Management, we believe that diversity and inclusivity is essential to creating compelling and authentic stories, and we are proud to represent actors from all backgrounds.

We are committed to providing our clients with the best possible opportunities. We are excited to continue growing and supporting the entertainment industry in the years to come.

When I am not working, you will find me spending quality time with my children, family & friends, baking, recharging my batteries in nature, reading novels, and crafting away in one way or another.

STAGE AND MT

After studying Performing Arts in Cape Town, I delved into the industry in various capacities. I was particularly drawn to the process of devising and seeing performances come to life and worked as an actor, singer, script editor, voice artist, entertainment manager and teacher. I also wrote and directed my own small-scale shows.

In 2020, I moved to London and worked as a casting assistant first, then decided to bring all my skills and experience together, which led to my becoming an agent assistant at Fiona Cross Management. Owing to my training and expertise in the theatre world, I now manage the stage side of the agency.

Working in an agency is both stimulating and rewarding, and I have great admiration for all our clients.

In addition to my work at the agency, I also take on freelance casting projects. I have cast short films for directors: Stella Scott, Rebecca England, Brendan Cleaves, Simon Fisher & Andy Mcdermott.

One of the things I love about the industry in London is its focus on inclusion. It's heartening to see all sizes, ethnicities and abilities welcomed with open arms. As someone who grew up in a freshly integrated yet diverse country, this kind of awareness is particularly important to me.

I believe that the arts should always reflect an inner truth, whether through realism or absurd styles. I am passionate about telling authentic and effective stories and am committed to being a part of that process.

When I'm not working, I love to watch and perform live music.
